He started Kinderga...I too have an autistic child. He started Kindergarten this year. He (I) lucked out with a great teacher this year. She is always open to suggestions from me and I from her. She is having an autism specialist come into her room and give her suggestions on handling Tom. It is so nice to hear form other mom's going through the same thing your are going through. I agree with a lot of what she says (even if I'm not always great about following it) but I'm still iffy on how to adapt her philosophy to Gus. She doesn't really address special needs, at least not so far as I've seen.
